Arsenal TV – My Summary
A chuckling Des Lynam turns to a rather bemused Arsene Wenger and asks if he had seen the bespectacled, slightly overweight man sitting next to him in action.(Comedian Matt Lucas, who later told Des that Arsene may have confused him with Kenny Samson)
Wenger, in the way only Wenger can, looks rather sheepish before uttering the stock phrase that post-match interviewers across the land have grown used to; he had not seen it!
Only on Arsenal TV could such a seemingly bizarre situation even take place let alone seem utterly normal. Being neither a fan of Matt Lucas or Arsenal I had to question my motive behind sitting through an hour of ‘Arsenal Question Time’.
If the concept of Des exchanging ‘banter’ with a bald comedian, Ray Parlour, Martin Keown and Arsene Wenger reads like your dream line up for ‘five famous dinner guests’ then Arsenal TV is well worth your time. If that doesn’t appeal there’s always Arsenal TV’s very own Parkie Bob Wilson hosting ‘Bob Wilson Meets…’ which is exactly what it sounds like!
